About Us

Sue Fattor, the founder and principal of BOLDER HR Solutions, has over 25 years of HR experience, in both the high tech and biotech industries.  Prior to starting BOLDER HR Solutions, Sue was the first HR professional hired at Clovis Oncology, Inc., and managed the growth of the company in the US, and initial expansion into Western Europe.  She led the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of all US employees, including growing the company from less than 100 employees to over 300 employees in one year, and approximately 500 employees worldwide in 4 years. She established a recruiting strategy and process that allowed the company to hire the best candidates in an efficient and cost-effective manner along with the development of an orientation and onboarding processes for new employees.

 

Sue managed the development of HR processes, systems, and procedures to support the growth of the business, which included leading the implementation of innovative employee work/life policies improving employee retention, e.g. Work from Home policy, Friday hours, Flexible (unlimited) vacation, Bay area commuter benefit program, etc; Project Leader for the selection and successful implementation of a new HRIS (UltiPro); developed, implemented, and managed Performance Management/Salary Planning Process; and provided consultation and support to leaders across the company. 

 

Additionally, Sue taught HR Management and Change Leadership at the undergraduate and graduate levels and earned her BA in Psychology and Sociology as well as her MBA with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from the University of Colorado, in Boulder.  She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).  More information on Sue can be found on her LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sue-fattor-b093354/
